Maniac Magee Book review

"Maniac Magee!“Maniac Magee! Maniac Magee!”. People all over have either seen him, heard him, or somebody told you about him. This book is about a boy named Jeffery “Maniac” Magee who’s parents died so has to live with his aunt and uncle who hate each other and the only reason that their still together is because of Jeffery (Maniac). He ran away because of his aunt and uncle and went tho the west and east end* where he meets his new friend, Amanda Beale, who he was soon going to live with.* The ends are separated because of the racism times. He sees her on the street and borrows a book from her and runs off like a “Maniac”.



If I could be any character in the book, I would be Maniac because he likes to run, read and start mischief and I like to do all of that stuff. He's probably really fit because he runs every day. But, it is kind of weird to be allergic to pizza and get pepperoni-like things on your body. Which had turned out as chicken pox.
